You can find me on YouTube these days, but most people know me from my 20-plus years at the BBC in the UK, where I’ve worn almost every hat in the building — from the high-pressure environment of sports reporting and live commentary to the technical precision required of a camera operator and producer. But for me, the story didn't start in a newsroom; it started at the age of 9 when I picked up my first camera - the Panasonic M10!

That childhood spark turned into a lifelong obsession. While my professional life has been dedicated to telling the stories of world-class athletes and documenting the biggest moments in sport, my personal passion has always been the "how" behind the "wow." I’ve been a "tech head" since I was old enough to remember, and today, that curiosity drives everything I do.
